ACCOUNT MANGER - SALES
Reporting to: Sales Manager
Based at: York Science Park, Heslington, York.
Hours: 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday
Holidays: 22 days & bank holidays.

We are looking for an experience Account Manager to join our team at York Data Services. Based at York Science Park, with excellent transport links, we’re the technology home to some of Yorkshire’s best Businesses. So not only will you join us in supporting some of the most innovative organisations, you’ll also work alongside a bunch of brilliantly talented people who strive to put extraordinary into everything they do.
The Account Manager will look after and manage around 200 existing customer accounts whilst identifying further business opportunities within that scope (cross and upselling to existing customers).
Responsibility for the development of new business within these accounts in alignment with company growth
Reach targets outlined by company growth plan
Raise Quotes, Proposals and Contracts
Collate administrative documents on behalf of existing and new customers
Maintain customer documents, document templates and sales activity on SharePoint
Maintain and update customers records in Sage
Completion and maintenance of CRM
Monitor and action of all Renewal business
Plan and priorities personal sales activities and customer contact
Respond to and follow up on sales enquiries using appropriate methods
Prioritise and follow processes
Attend and present at external customer meetings
Maintaining and building relationships with external suppliers
Plan and support organized marketing activities.
